In light of recent developments, and the many school closures taking place around the world, the Council of British International Schools have created a knowledge hub on their website to offer support to the international school community:
This knowledge hub is a resource for schools, full of advice, guidance, case studies and resources on how to deal with school closures in light of the spread of COVID-19. This guidance comes from trusted sources all over the world, from WHO, the UK FCO, the UK DfE and from school teachers worldwide.
Schools have contributed their first-hand experience and advice, and COBIS Supporting Members have offered discounted and free use of their services. You will also find a link to an article that One World Cover submitted for COBIS members on Coronavirus (COVID-19) and Insurance: Ensure Your School is Covered:
As always, if you are concerned that any aspect of the insurance plans that you currently purchase might not be sufficient for your needs at this uncertain time and are interested in us reviewing (free-of-charge, no obligation) your insurance cover to ensure you are fully protected – or can be better protected in the future – please get in touch. We are happy to help. In the meantime, stay healthy.
